Angela Evelyn Bassett was born in the US. Angela Evelyn Bassett, an American actress. Bassett is a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was brought up in Winston-Salem North Carolina by her aunt following her birth at New York New York, is an acclaimed actor. Bassett along with her sister at the age of five old, moved away from the city of their birth to St. Petersburg to live with the mother of their divorced father. Bassett when she was in high school watched John Steinbeck's stage play Of Mice and Men with James Earl Jones and she decided to become an actress. Yale University New Haven Connecticut awarded her a bachelor's degree (1980) which was in African American study, and a graduate degree (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale and, in 1997 they were married. Qualification: B.A. The Yale School of Drama granted the degree of Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Basssett in 1980. She attended the school following: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for students in 7th grade, Azalea Middle School for 8th and 9th grades and Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett has been cast in one the leading roles of Ramonda in the action-adventure film, i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
